Labourer killed after fall from electric tower

Fatehabad, Jan 20 (UNI) A labourer working for the power utilities was killed when he fell from an 80 feet high tower near Bhattu Kalan today.

The labourer Nand Lal Mahto, a Jharkhand resident, working for laying 132 KV power line along the Fatehabad-Bhattu Kalanhad, had climbed atop an electric tower for tightening wires, when he suddenly fell from 80 feet height.

He was rushed to community health centre, where he was declared brought dead.
