Four of family killed in road accident in AP

Ananthapur, Andhra Pradesh, Jan 20 (UNI) Four members of a family were killed on the spot when a two-wheeler in which they were travelling hit a lorry at Rayalacheruvu in Yakidi mandal of the district today.

According to police, the deceased were identified as Venkataramudu (32) his wife Savithri (30) daughter Umadevi (8) and son Lokesh (4).

The victims were on their way to attend a function, when the mishap occurred.

The lorry driver was absconding and a hunt was on to nab him, police said.
