Eight get life imprisonment in murder case

Jamui, Jan 20 (UNI) A local fast track court has awarded life imprisonment to eight people in a murder case yesterday.

The court also slapped a fine of Rs 5,000 on the convicts.

Judge Nand Kishore Gupta found all the accused guilty of killing their co-villager Kaleshwar Yadav and awarded them life imprisonment.

According to the charges, the victim was shot dead by the convicts at Tetaria village under Chandradeep police station, in the district on August two, 1988 following personal disputes.
