2 minors charred in UP

Jaunpur, Jan 20 (UNI) Two girls were charred in a raging inferno today.

Preety (4) and Kajal (3) were playing near a heap of fodder at village Unchdih, when it caught fire.

Both the children suffered critical burns and succumbed to their burns on the spot, police said.

The reason behind the blaze, however, remained a puzzle.

Investigations were underway.
