Wife kills hubby for not redeeming jewels from bank

Tirupati, Jan 19 (UNI) A woman murdered her husband for not redeeming her jewels pledged with a bank, at Tiruchanoor, near here.

Police said Hamsaveni(35) had been quarrelling with Suresh Kumar for the last few months over the issue. Yesterday morning she killed him with a stone pestle when he was sleeping.

Hamsaveni has since been absconding and the police have launched a search for her.
