Seven scanning centres raided in Phagwara

Phagwara, Jan 19 (UNI) A Health department team headed by Senior Medical Oficer Dr Kailash Kapoor raided seven Scanning centres of Phagwara today.

SMO Dr Kapoor told reporters here that one scanning centre of Sarabjit Hospital was sealed for one month as several irregularities were found in the centre, while one Doctor of a scanning centre has been warned to improve the procedure.

The SMO said that no irregularity was found in other Scanning Centres including Gandhi Hospital, Mahindra Hospital, Inder scanning Centre, Anoop Hospital, Mohan Scanning Centre.

The SMO reiterated his instructions that all scanning centres should maintain detailed records of the scannings done in their respective scanning centres.
