Stating this here today, Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Chander Mohan said that during the fortnight oil companies with the collaboration of the state government were organising seminars, essay competition and functions to apprise the people about the value of saving of oil.
Phamplets and stickers had also been brought out to motivate the people.
The Deputy Chief Minister said India was importing ten crore tonne crude oil annualy from abroad and the country had to incur millions of crore of rupees in shape of foreign currency.
