Jet Airways to fly Mumbai-Shanghai-San Francisco route soon

Kozhikode, Jan 19 (UNI) Private carrier 'Jet Airways' will launch its Mumbai-Shanghai-San Francisco flight by the end of February or early March this year as part of its ambitious overseas expansion plan.

Talking to newspersons here today, Jet Airways Chairman Naresh Goyal said the government had already given approval for the proposed daily flight, the first by a private airliner to the US.

The necessary travel permit from Chinese authroties was expected soon, he said.

The airlines also proposed to expand its operations to Beijing and Bangkok in the near future, he added.
