Gehlot favours probe into "Raje Govt's scams"
Jaipur, Jan 19 (UNI) AICC General Secretary and former Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot today said if his party came to power in the state after the next assembly election, it would institute proper inquiry into different scams allegedly committed under the Raje Government by ''nexus of politicians and bureaucrats''.
Talking to reporters here today Mr Gehlot said the reported scam in transfer of heritage and/or archeological sites of Amer to private groups, land deals under 90-B, controversial consultancy deals and deals of purchase of helicopter which allegedly involved kick back payments of Rs 10 crore, would be probed appropriately.
He said the present government was busy in gross violation of norms and procedural sanctity and several of its deals and decisions had attracted even judicial intervention.
