GoAir cabin crew molestation case registered

Mumbai, Jan 19: Police have registered a case of molestation, criminal assault, intimidation, and breach of peace against the GoAir passenger, who was off-loaded by the Airlines after he allegedly spanked two female crew members on-board the Mumbai-Jaipur-Delhi flight on Thursday.

''The two lady cabin crew members of GoAir flight G8-111 have filed an FIR against the passenger Ved Prakash, who verbally and physically abused them on January 17,''GoAir Spokesperson Freddy Castro said today, demanding immediate arrest of the culprit.

The FIR was lodged under sections 354, 509 and 504 on January 18, he said.

The case was registered after the alleged victims approached the police and narrated the sequence of events which took place on Thursday night.
