56 injured, two seriously in Jallikattu fiasco in TN

Tiruchirapalli Jan 19: As many as 56 people were injured, two seriously, in two Jallikattu incidents near Manapparai in this district of Tamil Nadu yesterday.

Police said at Pothampettu Patti village 51 people were injured, including two seriouslys, while five people were killed at Theerampatti village. The seriously injured were admitted to Government headquarters hospital here. The Other injured were treated at the Jallikattu venue itself, police added.
