Teesta Urja engineer dies of drug overdose
Gangtok, Jan 18 (UNI) An engineer working with the 1200 Megawatt Teesta Urja Limited project in North Sikkim died of a drug overdose, police said.
The Sikkimese employee was working as a junior engineer with the hydro electricity company and was engaged in a developing the project.
Sources said he was overdosed on a combination of prescription drugs like Nitrosun 10 and Spasmo Proxyvon. His body was discovered this morning.
The drugs were discovered during investigations by the police. A case of unnatural death was registered at the Chungthang police station in North Sikkim.
