HDFC net profit up by 83 pc at Rs 648.9cr

New Delhi, Jan 18: Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd (HDFC) today said its net profit increased 83 per cent to Rs 648.9 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 compared to Rs 355.4 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Its total income has increased 47.81 per cent to Rs 2,154.7 crore for the third quarter this year, from Rs 1,457.7 crore for the same period last year.
