Two killed, 14 injured in two road accidents

Hubli, Jan 17 (UNI) Two persons were killed on the spot and 14 others injured in two different road accidents on the outskirts here today.

According to police, two people were killed and six others injured when a passenger vehicle in which they were travelling was hit from behind by a speeding lorry near Anchatageri village.

In another incident, eight people were injured when a tractor and a tempo collided head-on near Hubli-Dharwad bypass at Gabbur village.

The injured were admitted to Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) here, police added.
