Lakshmi Cotsyn posts Q2 profit of Rs 16.32 cr

Mumbai, Jan 17 (UNI) Fabric manufacturer, Lakshmi Cotsyn has posted a PAT of Rs 16.32 crore for its second quarter ended on December 31 2007, registering a growth of 73 per cent, as against Rs 9.45 crore for the corresponding period during the previous fiscal.

The total income of the Company increased to Rs 234.76 crore against Rs 126.90 crore for the corresponding period during the previous year.

The EPS also increased by 60 per cent from Rs 6.90 to Rs 11.03.

The Company also declared a 20 per cent dividend at its AGM held on December 31, 2007, a release said.
