ECL Finance to see Rs 400 cr capital infusion through equity

New Delhi, Jan 17 (UNI) Edelweiss Capital Ltd today said it has finalised investment of Rs 400 crore in its financing subsidiary, ECL Finance Ltd, through a fresh equity issuance.

''The aggregate investment is proposed to be to the tune of Rs 400 crore, by way of subscription to fresh equity issuance which would comprise 23.3 per cent of the post issue capital of ECL Finance Ltd,'' said a statement.

ECL Finance Ltd plans to utilise the additional capital for its ongoing business plans.

Post the above fund raising, the Edelweiss Capital's shareholding in ECL Finance Ltd will be reduced to 62.5 per cent from the existing 74 per cent.
