Woman found dead in leopard attack

Kolhapur, Jan 15 (UNI) The body of a 42-year-old woman was recovered from village Bolalee in Kagal tehsil of the district today bearing injury marks caused due to a leopard attack.

The woman was identified as Vitha Ganpati Chambhar, police and forest office sources said.

Vitha last afternoon went to her agriculture farm and did not return. Her family members carried out a search operation. They found her body lying in the field this morning with injury marks akin to A leopard attack, the sources added.
