Temperature rises slightly but humidity drops

Kolkata, Jan 15 (UNI) Winter in the city continues as humidity level drops, in spite of a slight rise in temperatures.

Alipore Met officials said that maximum temperature has been recorded at 26.6 degrees Celsius and the minimum at 13.4 degrees Celsius.

However, the maximum relative humidity has decreased to 87 per cent.

Met department officials predicted that the sky is likely to remain clear during the next 24 hours with the minimum temperature to be around 14 degrees Celsius.
