Punjab to have Cabinet sub committee on IT

Chandigarh, Jan 15 (UNI) The Punjab Government has constituted a cabinet sub committee under the chairmanship of Chief Minister to take necessary policy level decisions on issues relating to Information Technology (IT) in the state.

According to a spokesman today, the Information and Technology Minister would be the Vice Chairman of the committee.

The Ministers of Industry and Commerce, Finance and Planning, Revenue and Rehabilitation, Parliamentary Affairs and Transport would be the members.

The Chief Secretary would be the member secretary of the committee.
