Punjab reconstitutes Empowered Committee on Computerisation

Chandigarh, Jan 15 (UNI) The Punjab government today reconstituted the Empowered Committee on Computerisation (ECC).

According to an official spokesman the Empowered Committee headed by Punjab Information Technology Minister Adesh Pratap Singh Kairon, would have Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary Finance and Secretary Information Technology as members.

Two experts from the IT industry would also be nominated to the Committee by the Chairman.

Director Information Technology would be the Member-Secretary of the Committee, the spokesman added.
