Haryana R-day function to be held at Gurgaon

Chandigarh, Jan 15 (UNI) The state-level Republic Day function of Haryana will be held at Gurgaon on January 26 where the Haryana Governor, Dr A R Kidwai would unfurl the National Flag and the 'At Home' would also be organised at Gurgaon in the same evening.

The Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda will hoist the National Flag at Rewari.

The Speaker, Haryana Vidhan Sabha, Dr.Raghubir Singh Kadian will unfurl the National Flag on Republic Day at Faridabad.

The ministers will also be foisting the national flag at verious places and in case any of the Ministers do not reach the scheduled place of function in time, the National Flag would be hoisted by the Deputy Commissioner concerned.

Police parade would be conducted, in association with the contingents of Home Guard and NCC at the headquarters of division, district and tehsil level.

At the remaining Sub-Division and Tehsil Headquarters, the respective Sub-Divisonal Officer(Civil) and the Tehsildars will unfurl the National Flag.
