Dongre appointed Thane Congress' labour cell chief

Thane, Jan 15 (UNI) Prominent social worker and senior Congress leader from here, Mr Tukaram B Dongre, has been appointed Chairman of the Industries and Labour cell of the Thane City (District) Congress Committee.

Mr Dongre's appointement was announced today by city Congress Chief Kanti Koli.

Mr Dongre is the recipient of the prestigious ''Pride of Nation'' award in 2007 at the hands of President Pratibha Patil recently.

He is a member of the Thane City District Committee and also member of the Congress Seva Dal.
