2 minor girls killed as bus runs over them

Palakkad, Kerala, Jan 15: An irate mob set a private on fire after it ran over two minor girls, injuring three others, at Mudapallur near here this morning.

Police said while Rosna (12) was killed on the spot, her sister Ruksana (14) died at a private hospital.

The driver of the bus from Nenmara to Puthukode lost control and ran over the girls who were going to school. The injured were admitted to a private hospital here. A case has been registered, the police said.
