Woman found dead in railway employee's quarters

Mumbai, Jan 14: The decomposed body of an unidentified woman was found in a railway employee's quarters at the Dahisar railway colony. Anatap, the railway employee, was however out of station and the body in his residence was discovered by an acquaintance, Pinki Harischandra Das.

Anatap, who had lost both his legs in a railway accident, had borrowed some money from Das. She had come to Anatap's residence yesterday to collect her money. But, she found the door locked. Das then called up Anatap at his native place, police said. Anatap informed Das that he would return only after a fornight but Das could break open the lock and stay at his place till that time.

When Das entered the quarters, she found the decomposed body of a woman, and informed the police.
