Three get life imprisonment in dowry death case

Patna, Jan 14 (UNI) A local fast track court today awarded life imprisonment to three persons in a dowry death case.

Fast track court judge Omprakash found Ajay Kumar Gupta, a native of Vikram Bazar under Vikram police station, in the district guilty of killing his wife Ranju alias Dimpi and awarded him life imprisonment. The court also awarded life term to his father and mother in the same case.

According to the charges, the victim was burnt to death by the convicts on March 3, 2002.
