Security arrangements in Bedhaghat to be beefed up

has
given
instructions
to
increase
security
arrangements
at
the
world
famous
tourist
spots
of
Bedhaghat
and
New
Bedhaghat.
Mr Vishnoi also gave directions to construct a half-km-long railing and wire fencing to prevent accidents at the New Bedhaghat area. The directions were provided at a meeting, regarding security arrangements at Bedhaghat, here yesterday. He said caution must be exercised that increasing security arrangements do not cause damage to natural beauty.
Several other decisions regarding security, cleaning and providing comfort to tourists were also taken.
Divisional Commissioner Anil Srivastava, Bedhghat Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Jayshree, Collector Sanjay Dubey, PWD Superintending Engineer V K Jain and other officers were present at the meeting.
Recently, four people, including two women, had drowned in Bedhaghat. Last year, about a dozen people had drowned in the waterfall.
