Police defuse Naxal landmine in Gadchiroli
Nagpur, Jan 14 (UNI) A landmine suspected to have been planted by naxalites in Gadchiroli district in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra was defused, police said.
The landmine was found, planted on a road near village Bejur in Bhamragarh tehsil of the district, during a routine combing operation yesterday.
A bomb disposal squad summoned to the spot found 20 kg of explosive, two detonators and 50 m of wire, police added.
