Manipal bags Golden Peacock Award 2007

Hyderabad, Jan 14: Manipal Cure and Care, India's first retail healthcare centre, today announced that it won Golden Peacock Award 2007 for innovative products and services.

According to a press release here, Manipal Education and Medical group Chairman Ramadas M Pal said the award had been bestowed to a health and wellness retail brand in the country for the first time. He said, ''our vision is to revolutionise healthcare in India by providing preventive monitoring with a focus on wellness.'' The award was aimed at encouraging innovation in organisations to make products and services, which were required in the country.
