Head Constable injured in accidental fire by Sub-Inspector
New Delhi, Jan 14 (UNI) A woman Head Constable of the Delhi Police was injured in an accidental fire by a Sub-Inspector in Shalimar Bagh area of North-West Delhi this morning.
However, no arrest has been made so far, said the police.
Rajni (21), the injured Head Constable, was said to be out of danger after the operation in which the bullet was taken out from her right leg, said sources.
The opertion was carried at the nearby Saroj Hospital.
The incident took place at about 0900 hrs when Sub-Inspector Rajpal was unloading the revolver for submitting it in the armoury.
Accidentaly the trigger was pressed and a bullet hit the right leg of Rajni - the armoury incharge.
