Haryana to open Sub-Treasury at Mullana

Chandigarh, Jan 14: The Haryana Finance Excise and Taxation Minister Birender Singh would inaugurate a new Sub-Treasury at Mullana in Ambala district on January 23.

A spokesman of the Haryana Treasury and Accounts Department said that at present, there were 21 district-level treasuries and 82 sub-treasuries in the state. These treasuries maintain the accounts of receipts and payments relating to the consolidated funds of the state, he added.

He said that a survey was being conducted for opening a sub-treasury at Behal in Bhiwani district on the persistent demand of the local people.
