Federation appeals to govt to regularise service

Tiruchirapalli, Jan 14: The Tamil Nadu Milk Producers Cooperative Society Employees Federation has appealed to the state government to regularise their service immediately and fix their pay scale on par with the government employees.

Federation President R Panneer Selvam and General Secretary Andavan told newspersons here yesterday that a resolution to this effect was adopted at the Conference.

The meeting, among other demands, requested the government to enhance the milk procurement price to at least Rs 15 per litre.

The meeting also urged Mr Karunanidhi to take drastic steps to set right the State Dairy Development Department, which was facing severe crisis.
