BSNL to increase broadband clientele upto 7 mln by year-end

New Delhi, Jan 14 (UNI) Public sector telecom giant Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) today said it targets to touch three million broadband connection across the country by the end of this month and extend it to seven million users by 2008-end.

''We target to touch three million broadband connections by this month-end and will increase it to seven million subscribers by the current year-end,'' company CMD Kuldeep Goyal told reporters while addressing a conference here.

The company, that has a vision of having 20 million broadband subscribers by 2010, currently has one million users.
