Actor Shreya in trouble for wearing indecent attire in public

Chennai, Jan 14: Popular actor Shreya, who played the lead role opposite superstar Rajinikanth in the magnum opus ''Sivaji-The Boss'', has courted controversy from a Hindu outfit for her indecent attire during a function in the city.

After training its guns on actor Khushboo for sitting cross-legged during a muhurat of a film recently, the Hindu Makkal Katchi (HMK) had filed a police complaint against Shreya, seeking a legal action. In his petition, HMK Chennai District President Ramamurthy claimed that during a function to celebrate the silver jubilee of ''Sivaji-The Boss'' held at the University Centenary Auditorium on January 11, Shreya had dressed in a manner that offended Hindu culture.

''We have given a community service register against the petition and will probe the case'', police sources said.
