Tribal woman beaten up, stripped in public

Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, Jan 12: A tribal woman was beaten up and stripped in public by the locals after her husband was found dead with stab injuries in her house at Jalli village, near here, today.

Police said the locals suspected Hemali (26) had murdered her husband Biksham (29) with the help of her paramour.

On information, police rushed to the village and shifted the unconscious woman to a nearby hospital.

A search was on to nab her paramour Mohan, police added.
