Khandu mourns former Chief Minister's mother's death

Itanagar, Jan 12 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu has mourned the death of Simang Apang, mother of former Chief Minister Gegong Apang, at her Itanagar residence yesterday.

In a condolence message to his predecessor, Mr Khandu said, ''I can very well gauge your grief at the loss of the beloved mother.

Words cannot describe how tragic this painful event is, not only for you but also for us all.'' The Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC), along with the office bearers of the party's women's wing, state Youth Congress, state unit of the NSUI and other frontal wings of the party, in a condolence meeting at their party office, also mourned the death of Mr Apang's mother.
