50-year-old woman found murdered in South Delhi

New Delhi, Jan 12 (UNI) A 50-year-old woman was today allegedly found murdered in her South Delhi residence in the CR Park area.

Police suspect her driver to be behind the crime.

Meera Mittal, resident of Alaknanda apartment under CR Park police station, was found dead by her relative this evening, said a senior police officer.

Her body had multiple stab injuries on the neck, according to the relative.

Her husband, an executive with Somnath Distilleries, was away in Bhopla for the last two days.

When he called Meera today and received no reply, he called a relative, who visited their residence and found her lying dead.

The driver of the Mittals, who had been recruited seven days ago, was untraceable.

Police suspect him to be the accused as he was not traceable until the last report came.
