SEZs will be scrapped: Kamat

Panaji, Jan 11: Goa Chief Minister Digambar Kamat has reiterated his government's resolve to scrap all the notified Special Economic Zones (SEZ) in Goa. Replying to a question on the issue raised by Opposition leader Manohar Parrikar, the Chief Minister told the Legislative Assembly that he had already written to the Centre for doing the needful. The government, he said, was yet to decide what to do with the land which had to be taken back from the notified SEZs.
