Prattiyur village declared warehousing station for EOU

Tiruchirapalli, Jan 11 (UNI) The office of the Commissioner of Central Excise here has declared Prattiyur village, near here, as a warehousing station for setting up a proposed 100 per cent Export Oriented Unit (EOU), under the Centre's Software Technology Park Scheme.

The declaration, made by Mr Bhikhoo Ram, Commissioner of Central Excise, Tiruchirapalli followed the approval granted to the EOU by the Inter-Ministerial Standing Committee in the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, official sources here said.
