Mysterious disease kills 4 children

Behraich, Jan 11 (UNI) At least four children, including a brother-sister duo, died after complaining of stomach ache in Risia area here today.

It was being suspected that the quartet had consumed a poisonous dessert.

District Magistrate Sudheer Srivastava said the incident occurred in Gayatri Nagar locality.

While, three children died on the spot, another succumbed to disease in hospital.

The deceased were identified as Sarita (5), Nankai (6) and brother-sister duo of Komal (4) and Ajay (5).

Meanwhile, police had collected food samples and sent it for examination.
