New Delhi, Jan 11: India hopes to wrap up negotiations with the IAEA on Nuclear Safeguards Agreement by mid-January when the fourth and last round of the talks would be held in Vienna, Foreign Secretary Shivshankar Menon said today.

Speaking to reporters ahead of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's visit to China tomorrow, she said three rounds of the negotiations had already been conducted. He hoped for a smooth and satisfactory conclusion of the talks. The third round was held early this month. Replying to a query on whether India would take up the matter of China's support to the Indo-US Nuclear deal at the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG), the Foreign Secretary said ''we have not yet reached that stage.''
