Grenade attack on Assam police outpost
Guwahati, Jan 11 (UNI) Unidentified miscreants attacked a police outpost in Assam's Nagaon district late last night.
Nagaon Deputy Commissioner J Balaji said the attack took place at about 2230 hrs when two motorcycle-borne miscreants lobbed the grenade towards the Nanoi outpost.
No injury or damage was caused.
Mr Balaji ruled out the involvement of any insurgent outfit in the attack, saying it was the handiwork of miscreants.
