Call money ends steady at 6.00-6.10 per cent
Mumbai, Jan 11 (UNI) Inter-bank call money rates today ended unchanged at 06.00-06.10 per cent after touching a high of 06.15 per cent and a low of 06.00 per cent during the day.
According to market watchers, call rates were hovering in the same levels, aided by improved liquidity in the system which had resulted due to inflow of capital in the call money market.
Dealers at the call money market said that the call rates are expected to trade around the same levels since the liquidity in the system has improved in a big way.
However, to absorb excess liquidity in the system, Reserve Bank of India today, through one day reverse repo, accepted 20 bids worth Rs 19,925 crore.
