Navin Bhasin takes over as COO of Tata Teleservices
Ahmedabad, Jan 10 (UNI) Tata Teleservices today announced the appointment of Naveen Bhasin as its Circle Operating Officer for Gujarat Operations to provide leadership to marketing, sales and other initiatives of the organisation in the state.
A postgraduate in Electronics and Electrical engineering from IIT Delhi and a MBA from Madurai Kamraj University, Bhasin has over thirty years of rich experience in the telecom industry.
Before his new posting to Gujarat, he was in the Tata Teleservices corporate office at Mumbai, where his key responsibility was to handle special projects.
Mr Bhasin was earlier associated with Hughes Telecom during the initial launch of basic services at Maharashtra in 1998. His previous assignments include setting up of a technology park at Bangalore and Instructional and Training assignments at Military College of Telecommunication Engineering. He has been honoured with ''Vishisht Seva Medal'' for his achievements in communications and planning in the Army.
