Mayawati plots to kill Mulayam, alleges Amar Singh
Lucknow, Jan 10(UNI) Samajwadi Party today charged Chief Minister Mayawati with hatching a conspiracy to kill senior leaders of the party claiming that the state was experiencing undeclared 'Emergency' like situation.
''Yesterday's unprovoked firing on the students at Saifai was repeating of the Jalianwala Bagh incident'', alleged Samajwadi Party general secretary Amar Singh here.
Talking to reporters, he said that the present Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) government was conspiring to eleminate senior SP leaders including Mulayam Singh Yadav and the present DGP Vikram Singh and ADG( law and order) Brij Lal were assisting the government on the issue.
'' Mayawati is indulging in the politics of vendetta and the opposition leaders and workers are being termed as criminals and terrorists'', he said adding that undeclared emergency has been clamped in the state.
He also raised the illegal detention of several SP leaders in the state after yesterday's demonstration against the misbehaviour with Shivpal Singh Yadav by the police.
Raking up the issue of withdrawal of security from the SP leaders, he said now Ms Mayawati, who herself is demanding SPG security, would be responsible for any incident against us, after withdrawal of our security.
Narrating yesterday's firing at Saifai, an emotionally charged Amar Singh said that the police entered the college permises when an examination was underway.'' The deceased Mukesh Yadav- 17-year-old was writing his answer sheet when police opened fire on the students'', he claimed adding that the real scenario of the entire incident could be ascertained by the the senior Professors from BHU, Allahabad University and others, who were conducting the examination.
Commenting over the functioning of the DGP Vikram Singh and ADG Brij Lal, the SP leader said while Mr Singh tried to book us under POTA in the last regime of Ms Mayawati, Brij Lal on the other hand had tried to take the life of Shivpal Singh Yadav when he was the SSP of Etawah.
