Metro to start feeder bus service from Indraprastha Station
New Delhi, Jan 9 (UNI) The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) will start a new feeder bus service from Indraprastha Metro Station here from tomorrow.
A DMRC spokesperson here said five buses would ply on this 10-km route at a frequency of about 10 minutes on an experimental basis as of now.
The buses would provide a service from the Indraprastha Metro station to Delhi Sachivalaya and pass through Crafts Museum, Appu Ghar Gate number 2, Pragati Maidan Metro station, Mandi House, Modern School, Barakhamba Road, Flyover Ranjit Singh Road, G B Pant Hospital, Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narain Hospital and Rajghat.
At present, 44 feeder buses were already plying on six different routes with an average ridership of 30 passengers per trip, he said.
The Metro has also short-listed 36 feeder routes for which 419 buses would be required, the spokesperson added.
