2 Bangladeshi, 6 Myanmarese held on IB in Jammu

Jammu, Jan 9 (UNI) Eighteen people, including six Myanmarese were apprehended today by the Border Security Force (BSF) on the International Border(IB) here, official sources said.

The troops of Border Security Force noticed some suspicious movement near IB in Phallan Mandal area on the city outskirts, in wee hours today. They laid down the trap and apprehended 18 people, who were trying to ex-filtrate to Pakistan, official sources told UNI.

The arrested people included 12 Bangladeshis and six Myanmarese, the sources said, adding they have been handed over to the nearby police station and case under Foreigners Act has been registered against them.
