Woman strangles husband over illicit relationship

Hardoi, Jan 8 (UNI) Owing to incestuous relations, a woman along with her lover garrotted her husband in Kotwali (city) area of the district, police said.

Pramesh Pal (38) had been missing under suspicious circumstances since yesterday.

Pal's body was recovered from a septic tank inside his house this morning.

According to police, Laxmi had irreconcilable differences with her husband. She also had a long-time affair with Anees of Mominabad locality.

Meanwhile, the accused were detained, who on interrogation, confessed to the crime, saying that they strangulated Pal and burried him in the septic tank.

The body had been sent for autopsy.
