Punjab education minister condoles death of KMV principal

Chandigarh, Jan 7 (UNI) Punjab Education Minister Upinderjit Kaur has expressed deep shock over the brutal murder of Mrs Reeta Bawa, Principal KMV College, Jalandhar, and three others on the college campus on Saturday night.

In a condolence message today, she said in the death of Mrs Bawa, Punjab had lost an able teacher, an upright academician and a woman with distinguished qualities.

The Minister said that it was a heinous crime committed with a selfish motive and police administration would leave no stone unturned to nab the culprits. She expressed heart felt sympathies with the bereaved families.
