LG Electronics India Ltd grabs 41% of IT market
New Delhi, Jan 7 (UNI) LG Electronics India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of South Korea-based company today said its market share in IT segment stood at 41 per cent after achieving sales of one million DVD writers in 2007.
''This clearly substantiates our leadership position,'' the company said in a statement.
The growth over 2006 has been a whopping 364 per cent. The sales have 85 per cent contribution from trade and 15 per cent contribution from OEM partners, the statement added.
''It has been a proud achievement for us, and the results substantiate our technological edge in the industry. The excellent quality of products resulting in least product failures, backed with efficient after-sales service, has been the key factor in achieving the volumes,''company's Business Group Head (IT Division) R Manikandan said.
