Kerala HC directs TDB to hold meeting by Jan 10

Kochi, Jan 7 (UNI) The Kerala High Court today directed the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) Secretary in charge to convene the Board meeting by January ten.

Considering a petition filed by one Ravindran Pillai, seeking a direction to the Board to convene its meeting immediately, a Division Bench, comprising Mr Justices P R Raman and V K Mohanan, also directed him to prepare an agenda of issues to be considered urgently and those in the larger interest of the public.

The court said that for want of any decision, there shall not be any inconvenience to pilgrims during the festival season and in matters where further decisions were required to be taken, the special officer shall convene a meeting of all concerned.
